David was born and raised in Tampa, where he spent his career working with windows and doors, where he gained many friends and found family. David was a proud veteran, having served in the National Guard, an experience that shaped his life and instilled in him a deep sense of duty and service.
Dave loved his family most of all. He shared 30 happy years with his wife, Pamela. David proudly raised his two children Tara and Davy, with his first wife, Barbara. He also extended his fatherly love to his Alexis, Pam’s daughter. He was a wonderful grandfather to Elena, Logan, and Scarlett, and his legacy lives on through them.
Dave was a #1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan, he never missed a Sunday game. His love for animals was equally strong, especially his German Shepherds, who brought him immense joy over the years. He was also an avid fisherman, enjoying many peaceful days spent on the boat with a cold beverage, a pub sub, and great company.
He was a kind-hearted and patient soul who valued his family, friendships, and the beauty of the simple moments in life. He always would remind those around him, that laughter was the best medicine. His great sense of humor and happy-go-lucky outlook will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
David is survived by his wife, Pamela; children Tara and David; grandchildren Elena, Logan, and Scarlett; and his cherished German Shepherds. He was preceded in death by his parents, Diego and Rosa Leon and other close family members.
