

Lively, David, “Dave”, age 54, of Tampa, FL passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 at home among family. Dave was a decorated Navy Veteran and served from 1989-1995 in the Gulf Wars aboard the USS Leftwich. Dave met the love of his life, Andrea, while stationed in Hawaii and then settled in Tampa, FL where they had their son Aaron.
After leaving the Navy, Dave earned a BS in Computer Information Systems at St. Leo University and began a 25 year career with Grow Financial. His love for his country, sailing, gardening, loud music, 3D printing, model airplanes, building radios, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were ever present in his family life.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Andrea; two sons, Christopher and Aaron; loving mother, Ann; step-father, Clay Tanaka, who Dave saw as a father; grandmother Lorraine Seigler; Mary; Aussie parents, Ron and Frances; Brother, Gerald Prestt; and a great uncle, aunts, and cousins. Dave had an abundance of great friends, co-workers, and shipmates as well.
He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, and son. Dave had such a kind heart and was loved by all of his family and friends.
Please join us at his interment will be held on December 17th at 12:30PM at Bay Pines National Cemetery in St. Petersburg, FL and for mass on December 18th at 1PM to honor Dave at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on Manhattan and the gathering that will follow in the social hall.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Lee Moffitt Cancer Center or Lifepath Hospice. The family would like to express their thanks for the wonderful help and care given by both Moffitt and Lifepath Hospice.
