Born on April 13, 1941, in Washington, D.C., to the late Dorothy and John Skelton, she was a proud graduate of Plant High School and went on to earn her degree from Florida State University, Class of 1963. Eva was a tireless supporter of FSU sports teams and other Tampa area teams and always enjoyed watching sports with her two sons.
Throughout her life, Eva called several places home, including Naperville, Illinois, before returning to Tampa in 1990. She was a dedicated realtor with the Toni Everett Company and a respected member of the real estate community in Naperville and Tampa. She took great pride in building her own beautiful home in Tampa 15 years ago after decades of helping others find homes.
Eva will be best remembered for her generosity and thoughtfulness in life. Often expressed in the form of the perfect greeting card on a birthday, a box of gifts for grandchildren on Christmas, or a theatre ticket for a friend, Eva gave to others far more than she ever took for herself.
She is survived by her loving sons, Jason Breese and Justus Breese, her dear daughter-in-law Homa Breese, and her adored grandchildren, Travis and Addison Breese. She also leaves behind her former husband, Richard Breese, her beloved sister, Sandra Fantle, and her cherished niece, Megan Wallace.
A celebration of Eva’s life will be held in Tampa on June 28 from 12:00 - 4:00 pm at Blount & Curry located on MacDill Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Parkinson’s Foundation in the name of Eva Breese.
