

Gary was born in Tampa, Florida on June 2, 1964 to Sandy and Richard D. Reddick, Jr. originally of Avon Park, Florida. Gary was raised in Tampa, attended H. B. Plant High School, from which he was graduated in 1982. In 1987 he was graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, where he was an ardent Gator fan and a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He subsequently attended the University of Miami where he earned a Masters in Business Administration in 2004. Gary was employed as Business Analyst in Business Intelligence with Linvatec for over 23 years.
Gary had a lifelong love of the outdoors, particularly hiking and fishing. A former Boy Scout, he has been actively involved with Troop 53 at Palma Ceia United Methodist Church, Gulf Ridge Council, Boy Scouts of America for six years, overseeing his son John's imminent acquisition of the rank of Eagle Scout as well. Both of his children are current members of H.B. Plant High School Golden Panther Regiment Band, where Gary and Alison have volunteered over the years, parking cars during football games or assisting with percussion repairs.
Gary is survived by his wife of twenty-three years, Alison, 17 year old daughter Grace and 15 year old son, John. He is also survived by his parents, Sandy and Richard D. Reddick, Jr., his brother Randy Reddick and wife Carol, his sister Jennifer Reddick, in-laws Ann and Robert P. Williams, Jr., and sister-in-law, Laura Williams and husband Mark Walker.
A memorial service will be held at Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church, 3501 West San Jose Street, Tampa, Florida, January 24, 4pm.
