Georgiana "Annie" Thompson, age 72, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023. Georgiana was born in Middletown, New York, on November 14, 1950, to the late Mildred and Walter Van Leuven.
Annie loved to see people smile, and after a 40-year career as a Dental Assistant, she was very good at making that happen. Annie enjoyed reading, crafts, and being around those she loved. Annie married her husband, Michael, on June 29, 1991 and resided in Tampa, Florida for over 27 years.
Annie is survived by her husband, Michael L'Engle Thompson; her son Phil Damms Jr. (Kristin); and her son Brian Damms (Jennifer). She also leaves behind two beloved grandchildren, Hailey Damms, and Taylor Damms, and 3 step-grandchildren Ally Krom, Andrew Scanlon and Michael Scanlon to forever cherish her memory.
A celebration of life will be held in the near future.
