Home going celebration for Mrs. Gladys G Bennett Allen 96 passed away May 14,2015 will be held Saturday May 23, 2015 at 10am at Mt Olive AME Church 1902 W LaSalle St with the Rev. Gregory V. Gay officiating. Interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Allen was born in White Springs Florida to the late Oscar and Jeanie Bennett March 22 1919. She was a retired educator of 37 years for the School District of Hillsborough County. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clyde W. Allen, and her brother Warren Bennett. She leaves to cherish her precious memories devoted niece Glynis Alexander-West ; (Tim King); Warrena Bennett; cousin Joy Bryon of Jacksonville FL; nieces and nephews Sherry Allen Hall, Lolita Malave (Angel); Odell Allen Jr., Wayne Allen Jr., Armando Larry (Joy); Fred Allen Jr. (Debbie); David Allen; David Larry. Extended family Mt. Olive AME; neighboring families of Keystone/Odessa; David Andrews; Wilbert Williams (Juanita); Dwan Franklin; Deborah Caldwell. Care givers Rosetta Carter; Jeffrey Branton; Loretta Hall and Keisha and a host of other sorrowful relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Friday May 22,2015 at Gonzalez Funeral Home 7209 N Dale Mabry Hwy from 5-8.
