Gloria Suarez Chacon passed away at the age of 84 peacefully surrounded by family and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Robert H. Chacon. She is survived by her sister Marta Llano. Children, Elaine Fernandez (Leon), Michelle Martinez and Robert D. Chacon. Grandchildren, Nikki Fernandez Ramos (Robert), Alex Martinez (Jessica). Great Grandson, Dristen Martinez and many nieces and nephews. And her pets, Chicho and Gunner.
Although we are incredibly sad and heavy hearted at the loss of our mother and grandmother, we find comfort in remembering her laughing and dancing with dear friends and loved ones . Gloria was the life of the party. She will undoubtedly be remembered for her love of family, friends, dancing and her delicious food. She was a warm, caring person who was always there when you needed her. Whether it was family, friend or neighbor, her selflessness allowed her to give without reason. Most of all, she will be remembered for her unconditional love of her children. From the day they were born to her passing day they remained her reason for living.
It takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them and a day to love them. But it takes an entire life time to forget them.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Sheriff Association of West Tampa (Drew Park) 4609 N. Clark Ave. Tampa, FL 33614 on Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 2pm to 5pm. Gloria’s favorite colors were yellow and purple. Per family request, they would like to see everyone dressed in those colors or any bright colors, if possible.
