Harold "Hal" Brewer

Hired by Montgomery Ward in 1964, Hal spent 34 years as an executive in both retail & logistic divisions. In 1996 formed his own real estate investment co. & managed it until 2008, when he fully retired.

He attended Mortimer Jordan High and the University of Alabama in Birmingham.

He was an accomplished artist and published author, avid tennis & baseball player. He loved cycling, fishing and Alabama football “Roll Tide’

He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Jane Faucett Brewer; father Joseph Burl Brewer, brother Crathum E Brewer; brother JB Brewer; sister Evelyn (Fannie) M Brewer; and stepson Rusty Harper

Hal is survived by his loving wife of 30+ years, Tammie Brewer; sons Harold Ray Brewer & Kerry Michael Brewer (Bethany); three grandchildren Keri Beth Brewer Adams (Hunter), Emily Carol Brewer Tubbs, and Philip Michael Brewer (Kelsey); three great grandchildren Addyson Kaye Tubbs, Bentley Ray Tubbs, and Rowan Cruz-Miller Brewer; niece Betty Jane Brewer Conn; special care giver brother-in-law Glen Gervais; and special pets Bubbles, Merry, and Molly.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Alabama at a future date.
