

Harry Bentley, a cherished father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026. Born on November 26, 1931 in Simcoe, Ontario, Canada to James Bentley and Annie Gallagher.
Beloved husband to the late Margaret Bentley for over 65 years. He is survived by his two children Rhonda Davis and Kelly Furey. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Heather Furey, Elizabeth Esker, Gilbert Davis and Sean Davis. He was cherished by his three great-grandchildren Quinn Furey, Lois Esker and Amelia Esker. He was also a dear brother to Gordon, Jim and Chirp Bentley.
He was born and raised in Canada. His family moved to Florida in the early 1970s. He worked for the then Tampa Tribune as a pressman in printing and publishing. He was a hockey enthusiast and chocolate connoisseur. When he wasn’t spending time with his family or dedicated to his work you could often find him tinkering in the garage or fixing things around the house.
He fought a long hard battle against Alzheimer’s Dementia and is finally resting in peace alongside the love of his life. He will be greatly missed and thought of often by the ones he leaves behind.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Blount and Curry Funeral Home Oldsmar West Hillsborough Chapel, 6802 SILVERMILL DR, TAMPA, FL 33635, US, on March 28, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
