Ilsa M. De Leon

Ilsa graduated from Olympia Brown Highschool in Racine, WI in 1981. She was a long-time resident of Tampa, Florida. Ilsa attended Pyramid where she sang, danced, did arts and crafts, and performed in plays and concerts.

Ilsa loved the lord and loved life. Ilsa was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who loved to laugh. Ilsa loved to listen to music, bake, do arts and crafts, sing, and dance. Ilsa enjoyed spending time with her family, drinking coffee and would politely put you in your place if you pushed the wrong buttons.

Ilsa was happiest when she visited her family or attended family gatherings. She was preceded in death by her mother Maria, father Juan, and her older brother Wilfredo DeLeon. Ilsa is survived by her loving siblings Louisa Duckworth, Frank DeLeon, Maritza Hamilton, Sonia Perez, Joseph DeLeon, and Angel DeLeon. She is also survived by 21nieces and nephews and 45 great-nieces and nephews.

We will deeply miss her but know that one day we will have the privilege to see her again.

A visitation for Ilsa will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, FL 33614, followed by a religious ceremony from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
