Jane Cralle Hall-Witt

of Tampa, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2015. She was predeceased by D.R. Hall Jr, her husband of 37 years; sister, Gracye Cralle McClure; her second husband, Currie B Witt, and her son-in-law, James Swann Judy. She was born in Tampa to Grace Houlihan and Ray Britton Cralle. She attended Gorrie Elementary, Wilson Jr High, H.B.Plant High and graduated from Florida State College For Women in Tallahassee and was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. Jane was a lifetime member of St John’s Episcopal Church, where she was baptized, confirmed and married. She was past president of the Episcopal Churchwomen of St John’s, past director and member of St John’s Altar Guild, serving for more than 50 years. She was a sustaining member and past president of The Junior League of Tampa, member and past president of Golfview Garden Club, past board member of The Home Association, past board member of Family Services Association, and a board member of the Eric Pfeiffer Gerontology and Alzheimer’s Development Center. Jane was a maid in the court of Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla, a member of the Tampa Yacht and Country Club, and a former member of Palma Ceia Golf and County Club. She is survived by her children: Bonnie Hall Judy, David R Hall III, and Cralle H Hall; grandchildren: James S Judy Jr, Jane Britton Judy Cisneros, and Mary Reeves Judy; great-grandson, Frank Cisneros III; nieces and nephews: Lela McClure and Ray McClure; cousins: Henry Cook Brown and family, Betty Houlihan Shinn and family, and the Sam and Myron Gibbons families. The service will be held Friday April 24th at 11AM at St John’s Episcopal Church, 902 South Orleans, Tampa 33606. There will be a visitation and reception following the service in the parish hall, with a private family burial. Please omit flowers.
