After graduating from high school, Jean held various administrative positions at MetLife, Pfizer, Suffolk County Community College, and the Suffolk County Pollution Control Center, culminating in her retirement from NY State Government service.
Jean’s life was beautifully intertwined with that of her late husband, George Warner. Together for 53 years, they built a life filled with love and laughter until George's passing in 2010. Her talents extended into the kitchen, where she was a fabulous cook, passing down treasured family recipes. Those who knew her always spoke of her light-heartedness, kindness, and ever-present good spirits. Her patience, grace, non-judgmental nature, and fantastic sense of humor are treasured as part of her memory.
