Jeffrey Dale Motley

MOTLEY, Jeffrey Dale 58, of Land O’Lakes passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 10, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years Kay (nee DePanicis); daughter Brooke Motley of Tampa; devoted Mother Judy Motley of Tampa; siblings, older brother David Motley of Redington Shores and younger sister Elizabeth Motley of Tampa and his furry companion Roxanne. Born in Eerie, Pennsylvania he has been a Tampa Bay area resident for over 56 years. Jeff was a graduate of Leto High School and attended Hillsborough Community College. Jeff had a professional modeling career, worked at TECO as a lineman for over a decade, and was a successful local business owner.

Jeff was athletic and excelled at sports - playing baseball, football, soccer, skateboarding and golf - winning many championships. In football he played on the state championship team at Webb Jr High - with his cheerleader sister Elizabeth cheering him on by his side. His passion was NASCAR - looking forward to EVERY Sunday race and attending many races with his brother David and friends in person. He was an avid Beatles fan - with a full vinyl collection. His love of football continued with his daughter Brooke cheering on the Bucs and he was thrilled to attend Super Bowl XXXVIII in person with his sister Elizabeth in Houston. Jeff adored his wife Kay and daughter Brooke spending most of his time with his family. Jeff was an organ donor. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 22 at the Blount and Curry, Oldsmar/West Hillsborough Chapel, 6802 Silvermill Dr, Tampa. Family will receive friends a half hour prior to the service.
