Mercado, Josefina, 88, of Tampa passed away on August 23, 2010. She was predeceased by her husband Roberto Mercado, and daughters, Nelly Rivera and Martha Costas. She is survived by her children Santiago DeJesus, Edilberto Medina, Rosa Albino, Jose Costas, and Robert Mercado; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; two sisters Romona Rivera and Maria Perez. Josefina will be greatly missed; she was always very joyful and outgoing. Visitation with service will be held in Tampa on Wed. Aug. 25th at Gonzalez Funeral Home 7209 N. Dale Mabry Hwy from 5:30 pm to 9pm. Visitation will also take place in Staten Island, NY at McCallum-Rice Funeral Home on Fri. Aug 27th 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. A funeral Mass will take place at St. Clares on Sat. Aug.28th at 9:45 am with burial to follow at Ocean View Cemetery in Staten Island, New York.
