Joseph Timothy Buscia

Joseph Timothy Buscia, 62, passed on Sunday, September 25th, 2016 in Tampa, Fl. Joe was born February 27, 1954 in Paterson, New Jersey to Joseph Buscia and Hedwig Patricia Buscia (Wuestefeld). He graduated from East Side High School in 1972 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from NJIT. On August 9th 1980, he married his other half Lourdes Maria Canal. They moved their family to Tampa, Florida in 1985 and he started JB Construction Services. He took great pride in his work and built many beautiful homes throughout Tampa Bay. He had a deep passion for corvettes which he collected through the years. He maintained them meticulously and attended many car shows where he would always leave with an award. He loved racing, 70’s music, NY pizza, witty comebacks, boating, sports, cleaning his cars, and most of all spending time with his family and friends. He was a very charitable man and belonged to the Knights of Columbus. Joseph is survived by his wife, Lourdes Maria Buscia; daughters, Jessica Lynn Losada and Lindsey Patricia Buscia; son-in-law, Jorge Losada; grandson, Alejandro Joseph Losada; brothers-in-law, Jose Alejandro Canal, Leonardo Canal, Adolfo Canal and their families; mother-in-law, Magdalena Canal.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 29 at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 N. Dale Mabry Hwy. Tampa, FL. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 30, 2016 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 12708 N. Dale Mabry Hwy. Tampa, FL with Father Bill as Officiant, followed by interment at Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Ave. Tampa, FL.
