Josephine Collura Ferlita passed away on Nov 19,2012. She was born in Tampa, Florida on September 9, 1914. She retired from the Hillsborough County Board of Education after 35 years of service as an Executive Secretary. She also served as a longtime volunteer at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Mrs. Ferlita is preceded in death by her husband Dominick Ferlita and son Nelson Paul Ferlita. She is survived by: her sister, Mary Collura Raines; son, Richard Allen Ferlita; special friends, James W. Carmichael and Liana F. Fox;and nieces, Hettie Lynn Elm, Anna Rose Martino, Leonora Martino, and Norma Jean King.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, 10 AM at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 East Lake Avenue,Tampa.
