Juan Seguinot Sr.

It is with great respect and admiration that we celebrate the life of Juan Seguinot Sr., who is affectionately know as Nito to beloved family and friends, and Papa Nito to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Juan was a quiet man with a humble nature and gave unending love to everyone who knew him. He was a person that could adapt to any circumstance without any hesitation, he was always there for all, especially his family. Juan spent his life dedicated to Christ and his family, which is a legacy that will be felt throughout many generations. His love for the Lord was evident through his actions and spoke volumes of his deep faith in Jesus Christ. He also loved his island of Puerto Rico. He took great pride in it and his Puerto Rican heritage. He also enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, such as spending time with his wife and family, taking care of his beloved dogs and enjoyed God’s creation through gardening.

Juan is survived by his loving and dedicated wife Genoveva Seguinot, his devoted children, Juan Seguinot (Dawn), Robert Seguinot (Marisol), Jose Seguinot (Rosie), Omaira Burd (George) and Edwin Seguinot (Madelyn). His adored grandchildren – Nina Seguinot, Christian Seguinot, Brandon Seguinot, Sorina Seguinot, Marissa Seguinot, Natalya Seguinot, and Cayden Burd. His great grandchildren, Ava Seguinot, Adonis Seguinot, and Apollo Seguinot. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maximina Rivera and Domingo Seguinot, and his two brothers Monserrate Seguinot (Rate) and Isidro Seguinot (Pepe).

A visitation for Juan will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, FL 33614.
