Our condolences to Dave and Eric on the passing of Judy. We cherish our memories of Judy from our military time together in Denver and then again in San Antonio. Judy was very talented in her artistic creations, which included her culinary skills! We valued the friendship of Dave and Judy and watched their son Eric grow into a wonderful young man. We are so sorry to hear of Judy’s passing.  We found out on face book from one of Judy’s friends. Just today! Please know how very shocked we are and send you our heartfelt condolences.  Please tell Eric as well.

Dave, Eric family and friends, we all know we've lost a bright, happy, hopeful , generous and kind loved one. We will all miss her dearly and our sorrow is shared.

Judy was so many things to so many people.  To me she was a good friend and became one of my best friends over time.
 
I met Judy when our kids were in elementary school.  Judy was a homeroom Mom and a crafter extraordinar.  The kids loved her encouraging, exuberant personality and she brought wonder and joy to those around her.  That was back in the 1980's and we remained close friends throughout the years; sharing lunches, Friday night's out with the girls and shared confidential stories, that you will not pry from my lips.  

We laughed and cried together, teased and joked; we went on night time Neighborhood Watch Patrols together.  She was a wonderful friend.

When I think of Judy, I'll remember that she loved kittens and puppies, the color red was her favorite and she loved collecting apples 🍎.  Judy often drank diet coke, unsweetened tea and if a cheeseburger was on the menu, that's what she ordered.  Judy had a sweet tooth and loved cookies, and preferred cake over pie but in a pinch,  pie would do.  Just don't offer her salmon or lima beans because they were not something she was going to eat and she would make a face everytime I mentioned them,  so of course, I did reference them often, giving us both a laugh.

Judy and I were buddies, we often shared with each other how glad we were to be friends.   I thank God for bringing Judy into my life, for my life was truly better because Judy was in it.  So as Judy often reminded me, "I'm just glad you're here."  What a wonderful way to great those you care about, so until we meet again, I'll wait to hear those words, "I'm so glad you're here." ❤️ U

Dear David and Eric…..
George and I wish to express our sincere sympathy upon your loss.  Judy was both our friend in HS.  We have a lot of fond memories made with her in the HS band.  We have been friends for a very long time.  We lived far apart from each other but when we were able to get together it was like everything fell into place and we didn’t skip a beat.  I remember all our trips to Amish country most of all.  It was our tradition every year to spend a whole day there.  What fun we had….what memories we made.  We will miss our dear friend.  I pray God will comfort you both at this most difficult time.

You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.   I met Judy 37 years ago in early November when we both started working at JCP Westshore.  We were fast friends because we had both just moved to Florida a couple of weeks before we met.  Judy invited me over for dinner, then to the circus, then to holidays, and then the famous Friday night shopping.   I have so many wonderful memories around the Denger family.  The Thanksgiving Bingo games were epic and so much fun.  We spent hours and hours on the phone when we were not working or out shopping.  We had so many laughs and good times.   She introduced me to her neighborhood friends and the circle got bigger.   Judy, Rest in Peace, you brought so many laughs and good times to my life.   You will be missed and you will be part of our conversations as we reminisce about the good old days.  Until we meet again!
