Lawrence Farley was a son, a brother, a husband, and a father; a veteran of the Korean war, a long haul truck driver, and a finished carpenter. Military honors included Korean Service Ribbon with 5 bronze stars, National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and a Silver Star.
Is survived by wife, Virginia; daughters, Vickey Farley, of Brooksville, FL and Wanda Farley Garverick and her husband, of Bucyrus, OH; sons, Larry Farley and his wife, of Manhattan, KS, and Kim Farley, and his wife, of Randolph, NJ; Stepsons, Stephen Tiffany and his wife of Port St Lucie, FL, and Nathan Christmas and his wife, of Pace, FL; sister, Verna Farley Mead, and her husband of Monroeville, OH; 22 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Maurice and Dollie Farley; brothers, Maurice Farley, Jr, John Farley, Larkin Farley, and Donald Farley; sisters, Luena Farley Couture and Bertha Farley Scott; first wife, Elizabeth, “Betty”, Farley; daughters, Mary Louise Farley, Linda Grace Farley, and Cheryl Anne Farley; and stepdaughter Sharon Tiffany McCormick.
