Dear Patsy, It has been several months since the loss of Larry.  I want to take this time to thank you for taking care of my childrens Dad so well. I know your loss is very deep and I am so sorry for your loss but rest assured he is in a better place.
He loved you verry deeply and I know he would want you to go forward.

"Uncle Larry" as we would call him, was a very dear & longtime friend of the Bunnell family. My Dad Jim & Mom Alice were very close to Larry & Pat. Great memories. Uncle Larry helped me with tutoring my math & chemistry homework. I will always have great memories of the entire Nisbet family, and I know now the my Dad & Uncle Larry are in "Paradise". "Big Larry"...always larger than life.  The man who always encouraged me to work for and chase my dreams and stand up for my beliefs. So many things I was able to experience because of you...Israel and Camel rides, my first oysters on the half-shell, how to pick out the right lobster, kick in the butt when I needed it most (to get my work done and stay on track).  As an adult, when I had started my own family, making feel like I had done some things right and you were proud. 

As a child, I can remember you getting out of the big Buick in your suit, looking all impressive and strong; I can see you sitting in the back yard when I was small with "Little Larry" in your lap, and putting him in the play pool with me, carefully watching us both and making sure we both got equal splashing time--that the big sister didn't get too overly zealous in dousing her baby brother with water. 

I will carry you in my heart always.    I will not say goodbye, I will simply say until next time.  Thank you for being my Step Dad, for loving me and always making me feel like I was also part yours.  Love you.  Nancy and family (Greg, Kristi & Kandi).

Larry is my first cousin.  I grew up with him in the small farm town of Loveland, Ohio.  Sometimes, on a Saturday, Larry would come pick me up in his jeep, and we would go driving around the countryside.......one of my best memories ever!  Larry was always there for me, as a mentor and as a friend. I love him very much.

Dad, as we get ready to say our good bye's until we see you again, I have been reflecting on the 47 years you were my dad. You taught and showed me so much, you inspired me daily to be the best I can be. You influenced your grandchildren with pride and love. Your life was full of adventures and persistence. I love you more than words can say, and I am proud and honored to be your soon.
