Lizzette Nieves

Lizzette Nieves was born San Juan, Puerto Rico to Felipe Rivera and Pilar Rosado on August 7,1962.She married Jorge Nieves on July 30, 1982 in Carolina, Puerto Rico. She graduated from Caribbean University. She worked as a ordained Chaplain and Homemaker.

Lizzette is preceded in death by her mother Pilar Rosado, her father Felipe Rivera, her oldest brother Felipe Rivera Jr, her youngest sister Ginette Rivera and her beloved husband Jorge Nieves.

Lizzette Nieves is survived by her sister Jannet Rivera and her daughter Maria Hernandez and her niece Nicole Padilla and and her nephew Felipe Padilla.

A visitation for Lizzette will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, FL 33614, followed by a Memorial Service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Memorials may be given to Lizzette’s sister Jannet Rivera or her daughter Maria Hernandez.
