She was also an artist/poet at heart and was published in the ‘Great Poems of the Western World Vol. II’ in 1990 with a poem she dedicated to her daughter called ‘The Dew on the Roses’.
The dew on the roses
are the tears we have shed
For hopes and dreams,
that have long ago fled…
But the rays of the sun,
that banish the dew are
God’s promise each day
that we’re all born anew.
The family will receive friends for a celebration of her life on Sunday, April 29, 2012, 1 PM to 4 PM at the Anseeuw home, Tampa. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Heart Assoc., Alzheimer’s Assoc. or Lifepath Hospice of Tampa will be appreciated.
