I am so saddened at the loss of your lovely Mom Lucy.  So many memories of our friendship over the years.  I was very thankful that Lucy and I reconnected  and grateful that she reached out to me at the end of August.  She was a courageous , kind person and  it was an honor to have her in my life .  I know Heaven has another angel and I know she will be surrounded by all her furry friends.

I remember Aunt Lucy being in my life since I was a kid in the late 80s and early 90s.
I remember the Cocoma family visiting us in Orlando from New York during the summer when I was not in school.
When Aunt Lucy would visit, she gave me a lot of attention. She would always ask how I'm doing in school. She would ask what my interests are. She would ask what I wanted to be when I grew up. She would always remind me that I am the biggest brother and that I need to look out for my younger brothers. That would lead into stories about how her older brothers would look out for her when she was a kid, I always had a card from Aunt Lucy on Christmas and my birthday. 
When I was in my early teens and would visit The Cocoma's in the summer she always make sure I was ok, well fed, and having fun.
As an adult, in the real world I am surrounded by a lot of people who have a bad attitude or only have negative things to say.
Aunt Lucy never said anything negative about anyone or any situation and was always able to point out and state the good in what's going on around us.
She always told me how much she loved our family and it made me realize that she is one of a kind.
In the past few years we would share text messages about healthy food recipes and pictures of her dogs and my cats.
My Aunt Lucy had a level of optimism that I have yet to see in any other human.
She is the sweetest, kindest soul I have ever known, and I hope her energy continues through the universe so we can all be just a little bit more optimistic.
I love you Aunt Lucy. I will miss you but I am glad you are at peace.

My mom supported my love for Halloween since I was a little girl. She ALWAYS dressed up with us and took us trick-or-treating. Dad would stay home and answer the door for the kids who came by for candy. Then halfway through the night they would switch. I NEVER wanted to go home. She was always so engaged in giving us the best life she could!

A time when Lucy and Michelle came over to spend time with Blanche when I was away.

Lucy was such a great friend and we shared the same love for animals.  A couple of years back I had won a gift basket for dogs at a holiday party raffle.  Not having a dog, I asked Lucy if she knew of anybody would need it.  It had plenty of toys, food and treats.  Lucy knew of a small animal shelter about 45 minutes away that was in desperate need of donations.  She took the basket and drove the whole way to the shelter to make the donation! 

Lucy also bought my cat Lavelle who was getting older this nice elevated food bowl and place mat so that he would be more comfortable eating.  My cat Blanche still uses it and I will always think of Lucy when I see it.  We will miss Lucy very much.

My heartfelt condolences to Lucy’s family including Freddie and Corona. I had the pleasure of getting to know Lucy when she was caring for and walking dogs. She had a heart of gold and was a very special person and friend. She showed so much love and affection to all.  My heart breaks that we lost such a beautiful person here on earth but I believe she is with our Lord.  I am happy that I was blessed to have gotten to know her.  I pray for peace for all of you at this difficult time.

Lucy and I have so many wonderful memories together. We’ve been friends for 40 years. She was truly a wonderful friend. We had a lot of fantastic dinners and sleepovers together. I will miss her dearly. ❤️❤️

Lucy was one of my very  few. Besties.  We laugh together, work with our foster dogs and just enjoyed the sunshine she brought into everyone's life.   There is a new shining star in the sky .  May her light follow those that loved her for the rest of our time here in this world.

Lucy was one heck of a talented Dental Assistant! I worked with her as a team for Dr. Gleason. I will always be grateful for all that I learned during those years.

I was so happy to go out for lunch a few times with Lucy after she left Dental Assisting. Her big heart was there for her girls and neighbors and DOGS!! Lucy and I both loved dogs!! I believe her love for others and dogs filled her world and other’s worlds with so much joy.

I love Lucy and miss knowing that she’s in the world.

My love to Janel, Chelley and everyone who knew and loved her.

I  met Lucy in the early 1980s when she worked for Dr Gleason. I   Also, worked there for awhile. Lucy was a great dental assistant, was great to work with and beloved by all.
Years went by and our paths crossed again as I went to a rescue groups’s adoption fair. Lucy was there and was so helpful in helping us adopt our beloved Minnie. Lucy was the sweetest, funny and kind human being . I will never forget her
