Luisa Vera

She was born August 19, 1942 Havana, Cuba to Virginio and Patria Isabel Aguiar. She married José Antoñio Vera Jr. on April 9, 1964. They and their two sons, José and Virginio, left Cuba in 1966 to the United States, Tampa, Florida where they had two more sons, Francisco and Luis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, José Antoñio Vera Jr. in 1983.

She was a loving wife and a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Survived by her sons José A. Vera III (Laura), Virginio Vera (Colleen), Francisco Vera (Virginia), and Luis Vera (Marilyn); her sister, Mirtha Velasquez and nieces Silvia, Dasmila, and Jacqueline with ten grandchildren José IV, Marcus, Shelah, Steven, Virginio Jr., Amelia, Dallas, Lily, Evie, and Francisco II and five great-grandchildren Roman, Dylan, Virginio III, Jovani, and Alexis.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 9:30 am at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, FL. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 11:30 am at the funeral home with a Committal Service will be held on July 7, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Garden Of Memories, 4207 E Lake Ave, Tampa FL 33610.
