Mary Marino Martin

Mary Marino Martin, 95, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, August 23rd, after a short illness. She was born in Tampa and resided there most of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Port Tampa for 63 years and taught Sunday School for most of that time. She is reunited in heaven with her husband, Lawrence E. Martin, as well as her sister and three brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Martin Stevens (Michael) of Colorado; grandson, Jeff Stevens (Lindsay) of Tampa; granddaughter, Rachel Fox (Marc) of Colorado; nephews, Rick Marino, Larry Tucker and Gerald Tucker (Shirley); nieces, Janet Musser (John), Diane Manis (Roger), Brenda Willoughby, Barbara Powell and Jody Rubeis (Michael); great nephews, Christopher Rubeis, Trevor Marino, Parker Rubeis, and Todd Tucker (Lauren); and great-great nephews, Oliver Tucker and Dexter Tucker. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, August 30th at 11am at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Ave., Tampa, FL 33609, followed by a reception and interment at Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL.
