

Michael John Pisarski, a beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully on Friday, July 12, 2024, surrounded by his family. Michael was born on May 24, 1958, at Tampa General Hospital. He is preceded in death by his loving parents: John and Dinah Pisarski.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, MaryBeth Pisarski with whom he shared 40 years. He is also survived by his sister Stephanie Pisarski, his two daughters, Laura Schneiter (Andrew) and Christine Babb (Shad), his two sons John Paul Comas and Matthew Comas, along with his beloved grandchildren: Logan Schneiter, Riley Schneiter, Alaina Babb, and Beau Comas.
Michael attended Christ the King Catholic School, Jesuit High School, and Tampa Catholic High School. He joined the United States Army in 1977 and served as a Military Police officer in Germany until being honorably discharged 1979. He went on to serve in the Reserves until 1982.
As a Tampa native, Michael was a well-known figure in the community, due in part to his tenure at Bay to Bay Hardware where he earned respect and admiration, and friendship from clients and colleagues. Prior to retiring, Michael also served for eight years with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), where he found a new passion for service.
Michael’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and the many lives he touched throughout his journey. His legacy of gentility, kindness, service, and loyalty will be remembered by all who knew him.
A memorial service for Michael will be held Friday, August 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Blount & Curry Life Event Center, 605 S MACDILL AVE, TAMPA, FL 33609. A reception will occur Friday, August 16, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 605 S MACDILL AVE, TAMPA, FL 33609. A committal service with honors will occur Friday, August 16, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd, St. Petersburg, FL 33708.
