

Tampa, Florida – Nicholas Joseph Callahan III, a pillar of kindness and compassion, passed away after a brief battle of cancer on December 10, 2023, at the age of 67. Born on February 22, 1956, to the late Polly Dyer and Nicholas Joseph Callahan Sr., Nicholas leaves behind a legacy of warmth and generosity that touched the lives of many.
Nicholas dedicated a significant portion of his life to a successful career with Macy's, leaving an enduring impact on those he worked alongside. Additionally, Nicholas owned and operated Austin Hyde, fine leather goods, for over a decade, he also was a host at Timpano both in Hyde Park Village. His commitment to excellence and genuine care for others made him a beloved figure both personally and professionally.
Survived by his loving partner Toula Bonié, daughter Meghan Casto, and grandchildren Haedyn, Sadie, and Easton. His sisters Lisa Callahan Hohler and Blake Callahan Harris.
A celebration of Nicholas's remarkable life will take place on Sunday, March 24th, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Blount and Curry Life Event Center, located at 605 S MacDill Ave, Tampa, FL 33609. Friends and family are invited to join in remembering and honoring a man who made a lasting impact through his kindness and compassion.
