Paul Joseph Ficarrotta

FICARROTTA, Paul Joseph, 51, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014. Paul was born on October 15, 1962 to Elvira Cacciatore Ficarrotta and Nick Ficarrotta, Sr. He attended Sacred Heart Academy and graduated from H.B. Plant High School. Paul received a B.S. in Business from the University of South Florida. He was active in real estate management. Paul was a loyal and generous friend to all with a zest for life. He laughed the longest and played the hardest and relished his friendships for a lifetime. Paul’s family was the core of his life; he was happiest being surrounded by them all. He felt their constant love and affection. Paul was predeceased by his father, Nick Ficarrotta, Sr. He will be dearly missed by those who survive him: loving mother, Elvira Ficarrotta; brother, Nick Ficarrotta,Jr.( Nancy Neaves ); sister, Karen F. Palori(Vincent), and his beloved nephew and nieces: Michael V. Palori, Melissa P. McLamore(Sterling), Erica E. Ficarrotta, Kayla R. Ficarrotta, and Jessica N. Ficarrotta. He cared deeply for his extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. A visitation will take place at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Ave, on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM with a memorial service at 5:15 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to a charity of your choice.
