67, of Tampa, FL, passed away on Thursday, December 4th. Paul was born and raised in Tampa, FL. He graduated with a Masters' Degree in Special Education from USF. He was the beloved principal of Dunedin HS for over 5 years, but was an educator and a teacher or principal his entire adult life. To his students and staff at DHS, he not only was the principal of the school but a friend and a mentor; their well being meant the world to him. He is survived by his sisters, Jane (Peter) Anello, Nancy (Jeanne) Loehr; brother, Aaron (Kelli) Loehr; nieces, Renay (Yogi) Cuadrado, and Jennifer Loehr; great nephew, Elliott Rosario; and great niece, Alecia Soto. He had many cousins who loved him and will miss him, as well as his "Summa side" of the family in New York. Our family wishes to express their deep gratitude for the wonderful and over the top care and compassion of the ICU team at Memorial Hospital, with an extra special thank you to Dawn. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed by all. Heaven gained a new angel upon his passing. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th at 7pm at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Ave, Tampa.
