Paulette F Jenkins

Paulette was born on July 2, 1932, in Skirum, Dawson County, Alabama, to Leonard and Novella Fuller. She was the first of six children. She met her beloved husband, Donald E. Jenkins, in Birmingham, Alabama, where they both attended business college. They were married on April 7, 1951.

The couple lived in Birmingham until 1968, when they moved to Wilson, North Carolina, following Donald’s job transfer. In 1977, they relocated to Tampa, Florida, again due to Donald’s work. Paulette worked as a bookkeeper for Ferman Chevrolet of Brandon and retired in 1997.

She was a faithful and active member of West Gate Baptist Church in Tampa since 1993.

Paulette was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Jenkins; her parents, Leonard and Novella Fuller; her sister, Dolores Trammel; and her brothers, Jerry Rogers Fuller and Robert Delin Fuller.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Lynn) Jenkins of Knightdale, North Carolina; her daughter, Wanda (David) Parz of Tampa, Florida; her brothers, Larry Fuller of Keller, Texas, and Don Fuller of Aliceville, Alabama; her sister-in-law, Gail (Steve) Kilgore of Weaver, Alabama; five grandchildren: Jeffrey (Mindy) Voiles of Safety Harbor, Florida; Joshua (Tressia) Jenkins of Maryville, Tennessee; Sarah (Bracken) Gentry of Zebulon, North Carolina; David “DJ” (Ginger) Parz of Lexington, Tennessee; and Jennifer (Jayson) Varner of Mechanicsville, Virginia; as well as five great-grandchildren: Adler, Evie, Dillon, Corey, and Kimberly. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

Paulette will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her strong faith, and her quiet dedication to those she loved.

A visitation will be held at Blount and Curry Funeral Home Oldsmar West Hillsborough Chapel, located at 6802 Silvermill Dr, Tampa, FL 33635, on December 19, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral service will then take place at West Gate Baptist Church, 5121 Kelly Rd, Tampa, FL 33615, on December 20, 2025, starting at 11:00 am.

Burial will follow on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513, at 11:00 am.
