Cuba but had lived in Tampa for most of his life. He retired from Hills-borough County Parks and Recreation, was a member of Grace Family Church, an avid fisherman and a frequent domino player at T&C Community Center. He is survived by his wife, Adrianna Diaz; son, John W. Diaz; father, Osvaldo Diaz; mother-in-law, Natalia Blanco; sister, Maria Elena Vetrano; sister-in-law, Lydia Blanco; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will take place at
7 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, at Grace Family Church, 5101 Van Dyke Road, Lutz, FL 33558. Memorial contributuions may be made to the American Heart Association .
