

He is survived by his loving wife, Anita Vinson, of 41 years. Robert was predeceased by his parents, Darby L. and Phyllis Vinson and son, Robert Martin Vinson, Jr. He is survived by his son, Eric William Vinson, and his step-sons, Nick and Alex DiPasquale. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Eric, Holly and Rhett Vinson, as well as his step-grandson, Nicholas DiPasquale, of Boulder, CO, and Ethan DiPasquale, of Tampa, FL, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Robert graduated from Hillsborough High School, Tampa, FL. Shortly after graduating, he worked for Lazzara TV Repair and then for Williams Brothers Boat Company where he helped build boats. He then became an entrepreneur at Star Cars, selling cars for numerous years as well as his business, Accurate Transmission, as a mechanic until he retired.
Robert was so inquisitive, he would take objects apart and then would put them back together again. Bobby was known as MR. FIX IT!
Above all, Robert was a family man, and he cherished time with his family and friends. As we all know, he never met a stranger! He will be greatly missed and forever treasured.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Saturday, February 8th at 2:00pm at Blount and Curry Life Event Center- MacDill, 605 S MacDill Ave Tampa FL 33609.
