

Suzanne was born in Jacksonville, Florida on November 3, 1950. Her family moved to Tampa, Florida in 1951 where she spent the rest of her life.
She graduated from Robinson High School in 1968 and later received her Masters in Education from the University of South Florida.
Suzanne had a passion for educating young children and enjoyed working as a teacher at Dale Mabry Elementary for 43 years. Upon retirement, she remained dedicated to the education field through substitute teaching and tutoring. She touched the hearts and minds of so many of her beloved South Tampa students, who remember her fondly to this day.
She was the daughter of Evelyn W. Bopp and the late Edward L. Bopp. She is survived by her mother, her brothers Harry (Judy) and Thomas (Maxine); nieces Kelly Cone (Hunter), Courtney Jones (Austin) and Kendall Bopp and nephew Tom Bopp (Ellen); great nieces Hallie Cone and Taylor Jones; great nephews Hunt Cone and Turner Jones; and her adored cat BeBop.
Suzanne was very fashionable. She enjoyed shopping and buying gifts for others and toys for her great nieces and nephews. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially during the holidays and at the beach.
A funeral service will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Tampa at 2:00 pm on November 19. A Gathering of Friends will be held at Blount and Curry Funeral Home on S. MacDill Ave. on November 18 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm.
