SCHWEIKHART, Gertrude “Trudy” Christine, 81, passed away on January 27, 2018 in Tampa, FL. Born in Ypsilanti, MI to the late Oskar and Christine Braun, Trudy relocated to Tampa from Armada, MI in 1973. She has retired from the Briggs Division of the Jim Walter Corporation and she was of the Protestant faith. Trudy was preceded in death by her son Terry Bruder. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Kenneth Schweikhart; children Kim Bruder, Kory Abernathy, Kelli Houston and Kevin Schweikhart (Velinda); sister Alyn Geno and grandchildren Keri Abernathy, Katherine Houston, Ryan Houston, and Sarah Schweikhart.
