ALVEAR, Victor Manuel., 77 of Tampa, FL passed away on Dec. 08, 2010. Victor was born in Manhattan, N.Y. on Feb.12, 1933 to the late Manuel Alvear and Celestina Rios Alvear. Victor was a true fan of the Detroit Lions, Pistons, Tigers, and Red Wings. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather and is survived by his wife Blasina; sons, Victor M. Alvear Jr. and wife Marisela , Daniel Alvear and wife Mayra, Alan Anthony Alvear and wife Robin ; daughters, Myrna Alvear –Noguera and husband Tony, Linda Celeste Jewett and husband Johnny, Cindy Lee Mull and husband Henry; sister Irma Colantino and husband Thomas; 14 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren. He was predeceased by sons Manuel Angel Alvear and Leslie Victor Alvear. Visitation will be on Sat. Dec. 11 from 10am to 12noon with service at noon, all at Gonzalez Funeral Home in Tampa 813-931-1833. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
