Rupp, Walter H. “Wally” of Tampa, FL, passed away on Jan 5, 2016. The son of John C and Eda C Kundert Rupp, preceded in death by wife Dorothy; son Ronald, daughter Judith Pietrzyk, grandson Timothy Pietrzyk and sister Gladys White of Morris, PA. Walter is survived by his 3 grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
He was a retired US Air Force Lt. Colonel and served in WWII, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was president of R&R construction Inc.. Wally was also a retired member of the U.S. Professional Golfers Association and was head golf professional at Agawam Hunt Club and Valley Country Club in Rhode Island. He graduated with a B.S. from Lycoming College, Williamsport, PA and an M.B.A from the University of Texas at Austin. He was a member of the Oregon Military Masonic Lodge, Tampa York Rite and Egypt Temple Shrine.
A graveside service with military honors is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, 12:00pm at Sunset Memory Gardens, 11005 N US Hwy 301 , Thonotosassa, FL 33592.
