William Stephens “Steve” Rinaldi, Sr. (January 24, 1938-February 4, 2016) 78, of Tampa and Boca Grande, FL, died at home surrounded by family. He is preceded in death by his brother, Clyde Lawrence “Larry” Rinaldi, Jr., his daughter, Allison Rinaldi, his granddaughter Sarah Rinaldi, and nephew Cort Rinaldi. He is survived by the love of his life for 55 years, Gail; daughter Lisa Aspinwall and husband Page, son Steve Rinaldi, Jr. and wife Kathleen, and daughter Lauren Rinaldi; five grandchildren, Claire Pepper Comparetto and husband Frank, William “Bo” Pepper, Jr., Justin “J.P.” Aspinwall, Megan Pepper and Matthew Aspinwall; nieces Kelly Roberts and Amy Shank; nephews Larry Rinaldi, III, Christopher Roberts, Ryan Roberts and Jake Roberts. Beloved by all, Steve was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed. A private interment will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lee H. Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute, American Cancer Society or any charity of choice.
