Garate, Zenaida "Sandy", 83, of Tampa, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 25th, 2018 early in the morning at Melech Hospice House. Predeceased by her loving husband Ernest in 2006.Survived by three sons, Terry, Russell and Mitchell; one daughter, Dulce; and predeceased by her eldest son Dennis in 2015. She will be missed by all of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends; but her loving spirit will remain with all those who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, January 28th from 1pm to 3pm at Gonzalez Funeral Home located at 7209 N. Dale Mabry Highway. Immediately following, the family welcome all to join them at the Garate home - 3312 W. Nassau Street. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Melech Hospice House would be appreciated.
