I just happened to think about Morris just now, wondered whatever became of him so I googled to find this sad news. I worked with Morris at Beall's in the '80s. He later got to know my father (who had same name as me) through some other avenue, though I can't remember what circumstances. Dad would always tell me when he crossed paths with Morris and say that Morris always asked about me. He was a good and decent man who always treated me as a friend, and I send all my best to all who loved him.

I'm so sorry to hear this news and for his family's loss. Morris and I worked together in Taylor in the 70s. The last time I saw him he was working at Beall's in Round Rock. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word to say. What a great guy!

Our friendship began when he worked at the Hancock shopping center Bealls and I was at Sears.  When he was at Northcross Bealls we always depended on his expertise in selecting clothing for Johnnie (this was  true of so many of our friends as well).  At the Round Rock store he even came out to the car to greet Johnnie.  He always had an infectious smile and any visit with him was a heartwarming experience.  Many times we shared news of our mutual Taylor friends.  We were truly saddened when we learned of his death.  He was an exceptional person and strong in his faith. I could not believe this when i read this . I was in shock! Beaver was such a friendly outgoing guy that never met a stranger .i have known him for years and he always had a friendly word or two every time i saw him . His taste in clothing was remarkable and there were many many times i would just have him pick out my husbands outfit  because i knew it would be perfect . We sure are gonna miss him but we know God has a good one . Rest In Peace dear friend . Praying fir his sweet family .

Was so shocked when I learned of Beaver's passing. He was my music man for many years. He would always come through on Sunday evening in Bastrop with the latest CD's. Always full of laughter, and spunk. Prayers for healing, comfort, and peace to all. God Bless

Morris was a wonderful person and friend. I enjoyed visiting with him every time I went to Bealls shopping.  between him and my sister Ann Romans-Kissmann who also works at Bealls would make me laugh. Between the two I would always leave there with a bag of well matched outfits.  I know in my heart that he was a true friend and will be greatly missed by Ann, Craig her son and Zachary her grandson.  Even before Morris's passing Ann would call are go visit Morris and Craig & Zackary would call him from MN. to cheer him up.  Now he's looking down from heaven and telling us that it's ok I have no more pain and we will all see each other again.  Rest in Peace Morris.  Peggy Siegeler

I can truly say he was a man of God. I know God placed him at all the Bealls stores that he worked as he would come across so many people that he ministered to. I know in my heart that he was a good and faithful servant for the Lord.He will be missed by all of his Bealls co-workers.

Morris was a very wonderful person. I enjoyed visiting with him every time I went to Bealls in Georgetown.  We would be holding up the line, talking and laughing.  Sometimes there would be people behind me,  waiting to talk to him as well! He's at peace now and with our Father God in heaven.  I'll miss you Morris my friend. ...I'll still continue to look for you at your register at the store.

So sorry to hear of Morris's passing. Allen and I always looked forward to seeing him at Bealls and enjoying a nice chat with him

Linda and I were saddened to learned that Morris had passed away. We always enjoyed visiting with him when we shopped at the Beall's in Georgetown. It was so obvious that Morris had a real relationship with the Lord and we know he is now at home with the Lord and free of all pain. I am very sorry for your loss.   He was one of the first people I met when I moved to Taylor and he always had a smile for everyone.
