

Services for Deputy Adam Joseph Davis, age 36 of Bruceville-Eddy, formerly of Holland, will be held at 1:30 PM Monday, December 16, 2013 at the Bell County Expo Center, 301 Texas 121 Loop in Belton. Burial will follow at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple. The family will receive visitors from 6-8:00 PM Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the Bell County Expo Center. Adam was born on October 5, 1977 in Big Spring, Texas to Carlos and Guadalupe Davis. He graduated from Belton High School in 1996 and began his law enforcement career as an interim police chief with the Troy Police Department. Adam was employed by the Bell County Sheriff's Department at the time of his death. He was a great mechanic and worked for both Kabler Automotive and McGuire Truck & Auto Repair. Adam was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts and cousins. Survivors include his parents, Carlos and Guadalupe Davis; his son, Lance of Kemah; a sister, Connie and husband Terry Knaus, all of Holland; two brothers, Carlos, Jr. and wife Carmen of Joshua and James and wife Jessica of Holland; nieces, Cheyenne Knaus and Jacqueline Davis; nephews, Jeremy Knaus, Dominic and Johnathan Davis; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent, in memory of Deputy Adam Davis, to St. Jude's Children's Foundation.
