
Alice Mraz, age 88, of Temple died Sunday, June 15, 2008 in a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 17, at Seaton Cemetery with Minister Loyd Hall officiating. Mrs. Mraz was born September 23, 1919 in Temple to John and Millie (Hubenak) Mikeska. She married Lenhart Mraz on July 3, 1939 in the Marak community. She lived in Temple until World War II began and moved to Cameron for 10 years returning to Temple in 1950. She and her husband owned and operated Alice's Café in Temple for 30 years, retiring in 1992. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990, one son, Lynn Mraz in 2003 and two sisters and one brother. Survivors include one son, Don Mraz and wife, Kit of Temple, a daughter-in-law, Brenda Mraz of Temple, six grandsons, Derry Mraz and wife, Catherine of Academy, Todd Mraz and wife, Susan of Belton, Cory Mraz and wife, Shelley of Bakersfield, California, Joey Mraz and wife, Tracy of Alvin, Chad Mraz and wife, Kim of Lowry Crossing, Brian Mraz and wife, Chasity of Krum,12 great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Brooks, Kendall, Lauren, Riley, Kamryn, Kollin, Kasey, Garrett, Kristi, Ashley and Blake and one sister, Willie Mae Lutz of Waco.
