
Memorial services for Annie Mae Hejl, 85, of Heidenheimer will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday at East Highway Baptist Church with Rev. Ernest Thompson officiating. Burial will be later at North Elm Cemetery. Mrs. Hejl died Thursday in a Belton Living Center. Mrs. Hejl was born at Meeks to William Chudej and Annie Labaj Chudej. She graduated from High School at Meeks. She married G.W. Lock February 22, 1941. He preceded her in death in 1978. She then married Eugene Hejl April 5, 1980. She graduated from Kings Daughters Nursing School in 1955 and worked at Kings Daughters Hospital for two years and then worked in the Operating Room at Scott and White for twenty three years having retired in 1988. She had also worked for Safeway stores. She had lived in Heidenheimer for over thirty years, moving there from Temple. Mrs. Hejl was a member of SPJST Lodge #47 at Seaton, where she served as Entertainment Chairman and she was a member of East Highway Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by two sons George William Lock and Terry Lynn Lock, one sister Ella Bedrich and one brother Robert Chudej. Survivors include her husband Eugene Hejl of Heidenheimer; one son Gary Lock of Rogers, one sister Libbie Jansky of Temple; one grandchild Gregory Wayne Lock of Mockingbird Hill and two great grandchildren Jacqulin Lock and Jon Kevin Lock. Scanio Harper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
