

Funeral services for Bernice Graham, 83, of Temple will be held at 10:00 am Thursday at First Lutheran Church with Rev. Eric Petty officiating. Burial will be at Bellwood Memorial Park. Bernice Graham passed away peacefully Monday in a Belton Care Center. Bernice was born March 11, 1934 in Paige, Texas to Eric and Norma Fuchs. She moved to Temple in 1936. She graduated from Temple High School in 1952. Bernice married O.B. Graham, Jr. on July 21, 1952. She helped O.B. operate a service station in Temple for 56 years. They both retired in 2010. Bernice was an active member of First Lutheran Church for over 70 years. She held various positions within the church council to include being president of the congregation. She loved to travel, cook and work in the garden. Bernice excelled at being a wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Survivors include two sons Steven Berry Graham and his wife Linda of Belton and Randell Ryan Graham and his wife Patti of Troy, one sister Joyce Waters and her husband Taylor of Plano; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Bernice was preceded in death by one sister Mildred Ann Fuchs, her husband of 62 years O.B. Graham, Jr., and one grandson Cody Wayne Graham. Pallbearers are Nathan Graham, Andrew Mendoza, Mike Gray, Matthew Graham, J.C. Thompson, and Mark Thompson. Memorials may be made to the First Lutheran Church or any memorial of your choice. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6-8 pm at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
