Beth Sheffield

Beth Sheffield, age 77, of Temple passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016 at a local care center. She was born on December 12, 1938 in Santa Anna, Texas the daughter of Jack and Skeeta Cooper. Visitation will take place on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home 3110 Airport Rd Temple, Texas. A time of gathering will be held on Monday, November 7, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 noon at the Rockwood Community Center in Rockwood, Texas followed by a 1:00 P.M. burial at Rockwood Cemetery. On June 7, 1957 in Rockwood Beth married Charles Sheffield. She was a member of Taylor’s Valley Baptist Church in Temple and participated in the Relay for Life as she was a strong advocate for breast cancer awareness. Beth is survived by her husband Charles, sons Mike Sheffield and his wife Tracy of Wimberley, TX and Monte Sheffield and his wife Kristen of San Marcos, TX, 3 grandsons Wyatt, London, and Lawson Sheffield and a granddaughter Fallon Sheffield and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Quincy Allen. In lieu of flowers memorial to Taylor’s Valley Baptist Church, Relay for Life, or to the Special Olympics would be appreciated.
