Billie Louise Smith

Billie Louise Smith, age 83, of Temple died Tuesday, April 27, 2010 in a local hospital. Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 29, at Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Humphrey and Rev. Jakie Shirley officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Mrs. Smith was born on March 10, 1927 in Temple to Alvin Mabry and Jodie Mae (Daniels) Nichols. She graduated from Temple High School in 1944. She married William Howard Smith on January 12, 1946 in Temple. He preceded her in death on October 11, 2004. She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church for over 60 years. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include two sons, Michael Smith of Temple, Randall Smith and wife, Lezlie of Plano, two daughters, Pamela Smith Bulls of Temple and Lisa Smith of Carrollton and six grandchildren, Brandon Bulls of Carrollton, Gregory Smith and wife, Lindsey of Spring, Sarah Smith Walsh and husband, Brandon of Lewisville, Geoffrey Smith of Houston, Karen Smith Ambriati and husband, Chris of Coppell and Bryant Bulls of Temple. Pallbearers will be Raymond Johnson, Allen Newman, Charles Thompson, Bill Hermon, Tommy Stone and Nobu Togami. Memorial donations may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, Library Fund, 1401 W. Central Ave., Temple, TX 76504.
