Billy J. Bell Graveside services for Mr. Billy J. Bell, 82, of Moffat will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday July 17, 2008 in the Moffat Cemetery with Minister David Vanderveld officiating. Mr. Bell died Monday July 14, 2008 in a Temple hospital. Mr. Bell was born August 5, 1925 in Moody, Texas the son of Armed and Pearl Robinette Bell. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of W.W. II. He later worked for the Texas Youth Council, Four Seasons Nursing Center, Gatesville Independent School District and retired from the Moody Housing Authority. He was preceded in death by one son Allan Bell. Mr. Bell is survived by his wife of sixty years Ruth Bell of Moffat one son Keith Bell of Gatesville and three daughters Marla Hernandez of Moffat, Becky Bell of Pflugerville and Cheryl Mangelsdorf of Pflugerville. He is also survived by three Brothers Jack Bell of Grand Junction, Colorado, Jerry Ray Bell of Wimberley and Clarence Donald Bell of Rankin, as well as ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the West Main Church of Christ in Gatesville, Texas. The family will host a visitation from 6 until 7PM Wednesday July 16, 2008 at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple.
