Boyd Frank Acree, 68, of Temple, died Saturday, May 5, 2007 at his home. Military graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with Rev. Eddie Humphrey officiating. Mr. Acree was born December 2, 1938 in Houston, Texas to Boyd Sewell and Leota Irene Main Acree. He had worked in road construction and was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he was a paratrooper. Survivors include one daughter, Dana Corley and husband Wes of Baytown; one sister, Sharon Bouvier and husband James of Houston; two grandchildren, Kevin Collins and Lesley Jackson.
