Carolyn Redford

Mrs. Redford was born in Taylor to Charlie Pekar and Frances Zak Pekar. She had lived in Seaton and Rogers. She graduated from Rogers High School in 1972 and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She worked for Scott and White Hospital for thirty four years and was a safety coordinator there. She married Roy Bailey Jones in December, 1972. He preceded her in death in 1988. She married Charles Otis Redford in 1991. She was preceded in death by by her father, mother, one brother Albert Pekar, and two sisters Janie Klepac, and Hattie Volek. Survivors include her husband Charles Redford of Rogers; three daughters Elizabeth Cryer of Davilla, Tracey Wolf of Little River and Janene Redford of Belton, one son Shawn Redford of Fort Wayne, Alabama; three brothers Bart Pekar of Temple, Johnnie Pekar of Gardenerville, Nevada, Robert Pekar of Temple; eight sisters Alice Welborn of Temple, Frances Polasek of Temple, Matylda Klepac of Temple, Helen Malcik of Red Ranger, Shirley Hutka of Oscar, Georgia Dubcak of League City, Mary Ann Martinez of Temple and Susie Strakos of Temple, and five grandchildren Jacob Torres, Jessica Cryer, and Jorden Cryer all of Rogers, Kara Lynn Wolk of Little River, and Charlie Mae Redford of Belton.
