Funeral services for Cheryl Ann Johnson, 49, of Temple will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday July 17, 2008 at Heights Baptist Church with Dr. Tom Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Davilla Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson died Monday July 14, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Johnson was born in Dallas to Gene York and Bennie Faulkner York. She moved to Temple about twenty five years ago. She married Ricky Johnson in 1999. She was a member of Heights Baptist Church and worked at a Data Processor for Consolidated Association of Railroad Employees. She was preceded in death by one son Nathan Paul Nichols in 1990. Survivors include her husband Ricky Johnson of Temple; one daughter Catherine Nichols and her husband Johnny Salinas of Temple; her mother Bennie York of Dallas; two brothers Ron York of Carrollton and Gary York of Richmond, Virginia and one sister Judy York of Dallas. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at Scanio Harper Funeral Home.
