Darrell A. Brown

Darrell A. Brown, age 84, of Moffat passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018 at a local care center. He was born on January 17, 1934 in Moffat the son of Alex and Rhoda Brown. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home 3110 Airport Rd. Temple, Texas 76504. A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Darrell served his country in the United States Airforce, was an active member at Heights Baptist Church in Temple, and retired from Wilson Art after 32 ½ years in 1991. He is survived by his wife Ernestine of Moffat, sons Darrell W. Brown of Moffat and Robert E. Brown and wife Cheryl of Moffatt, 4 grandsons; Corey Brown, Chad Brown and wife Ellie, Colton Brown and wife Michelle, and Lance Clark, granddaughter Chrystal Williams and husband Ronny, and 3 great-grandchildren Jaxson, Liam, and Scarlett Williams. He is also survived by a brother Walter Brown and wife Shirley of Temple, and sister Sue Humphrey of the Metroplex. Darrell was preceded in death by his daughter Anita Sue Brown and his parents Alex and Rhoda. In lieu of flowers memorials to Heights Baptist Church 1220 S. 49th St. Temple, Texas 76504.
